Mary Margaret Park: “Lady Lenore” (Poem)

This post currently has: no responses...

As part of our newer methods for enabling our songs/writings to you, which will work on any devices you own, be they Desktops, Laptops, Mobile-Phones, or Tablets, we have a Poetry release titled, “Lady Lenore” which you can read via this article and then afterwards, you may click to the full-page presentation which includes a link to the song which inspired the writing. If you’re a Music-Supervisor, you’ll be able to License the song directly from the page as well. And now, the Poem:

“Lady Lenore”

white linen
a crown of thorns
and buttercups remorse
upon the favored brow
of woman child Lenore

in everglades of waste
another man doth tread
to beseech the sweetest lips
for a most scandalous delight

and now he stands before the throne
beneath a veil of red
he see’s her ghost-like form
a sideways glance hailed from within

his heart, alas
is broken
his dear maiden breathes no more
a victory bequeathed in death
he cries forevermore
why hath thou forsaken me?
forever after, sweet Lenore

Definitions: “Sometimes They Suck The Life Out Of Sharing” (Sekrett Scilensce)

This post currently has: no responses...

One of the primary problems with many of the leftover systems and methods churning around the internet, whether to implement outreach or sales or some other notion, is that it takes a bit of explanation to make these integrations seem simple. People don’t like wasting time because frankly, we don’t have a lot, not really; if you live out in the middle of “Where the F*ck Hell” you might but otherwise, you’re slaving to somebodies idea of a good work ethic and pay structure. So these Tech-Jockeys make these things, charge a small-fee (or sometimes no fee) and then all the work is on you; but it isn’t unique in the eyes of the people you are trying to enchant, nor’ does it ever come across as Easy-123 to use so blah (you’re done) — These things really just end up keeping your self esteem down. Who needs that? We’ve spoken of GumRoad.com and Selz.com because in the world of sharing/sales, they’ve created paradigms of simplicity that currently can’t be matched. A lot of the other stuff is three to six steps and a bit of explaining. No one cares enough (unless they just really, really, want what you’ve got).

Get used to it.

Figuring out the rest is just fun.

Internet Radio? Get The !@#$ Out Of Here!

This post currently has: no responses...

We continue to get pitched on dead-paradigms. Okay. Ads go in one eye, out the other. Words go in one ear, out the other. Sperm penetrates the Egg and a baby is made. Are these people serious? In a world where most people we know are going to Groove Shark or YouTube before they ever touch (if they ever touch) a dial, there is still a fond-line of How-To Jockeys expressing the merits of ubiquity? Okay. It isn’t bad enough that you are pushed into the after-market corner, now, they pander to you (i.e. an Artist, Creator). Bug off! You can’t change where things have evolved. You can’t stay stuck in the idea that you’ll generate millions upon thousands of listener-tribes or revenue-points either. Look at those penny-squealers from Spotify etc. No, what you can do is get with the !@#$%^& times. Bands are like, “We need better branding”, “We need better social-media outreach”, “We need Gold Socks” — No, what you need is better songs and less hype.

Hone your craft…

The rest is a huge ‘maybe’…..

Why are we asked, “What do you think the future of Music distribution/publishing is?”

This post currently has: 3 responses...

We don’t abide by politically-correct jargon; “Why is the sky blue?” “Why are Giraffes tall?” “Why does the guy from Chromeo teach?” There are thousands of things at any given time, happening. All the monikers serve to do is devalue your position and put everything into containers/labels/boxes/crates/and Demonic failed Thespian vaginas. You don’t need to answer to anyone anymore. If you have an idea, make a website. If you don’t have an idea, make a website. Don’t want to make a website then don’t make one. As easy as everything stated here are the virtues of existing in the Technocracy we now inhabit. Kid goes hungry, feed him the bullsh*t iPhone you bought him. Why? It’s the FUTURE! In the future, we will all eat microchips and be bound by books, only written by Grisham and Koontz. Dog goes hungry, feed your kid to him; why? In the future, kids will be a source of nutrition for your household pets. How do we know? That’s exactly our point, “We don’t.” (and neither do you) — got it?

Call To Action (I)

This post currently has: no responses...

It is important to us that all links get followed at some point, so that we can know if what we are doing is interesting or uninteresting to YOU. That being said, you will hear all kinds of claims saying things like, “Have a call to action!” or, “Not having a call to action means you’re unintelligent!” etc. We’re not sure how important a Call-to-Action is in a self-filtering world but what we do know is (A) We pay a lot to offer what we have and (B) We wait very long times to see if what we have is even remotely worth a call-to-action at any point. So please, click through to our link and support our Call-to-Action (a.k.a. C2A in Text-Speak). To the Text-er-in-You we say the following, “Plz see th3 lnk belw so we can figr out if what we r doin is even wrth doin @ ths tyme, aye?”

Paradigm Shifts

This post currently has: no responses...

It is funny how no person wants to believe us. Not because we think we’re right and their wrong, but because the statement we make about anything static being a relic of the Industrial Revolution falls on many deaf ears. It isn’t hard to swallow, and it is quite liberating. There is no incentive for something that worked in a physically driven market. Our team lived to see Vinyl, Cassette, and CD prosper. Five generations haven’t. Sound is not around them while they mingle with friends etc. They sit across from each other in rooms with headphones plugged into their devices and listen to what they want while working on homework. An isolated activity now more so than community driven. No one needs to listen to bands, they just find things they want to try out by friends and relatives and the rest is a long line of saturation that they just don’t find amusing. Every single music maker and writer who isn’t focused on making high-quality content is stuck on some broken record of desperation. The high-quality content creator is a relic because most of what he’s doing is still, “Static”.

It is completely against you and your relevance.

Stomach the challenge or get out because what’s coming next has no merit towards your artistry. You’ll wish it did but in truth, when Steve Jobs devalued the entire process of creation by unbalancing the investment/sales spectrum of creating high-quality material vs. 0.99cents pricing, everyone lost (per the perspective of any illusions or feelings of entitlement they may have carried).

Everything since has been a gimmick or false talking-point. All is a fight against a Fascism that values slave-labor and nothing artful.

Hey, if they did value arts, they wouldn’t give best album of the year awards to auto-tuned idols.

Too Many Options

This post currently has: no responses...

It is not trivial to know there are too many options. It is trivial however to think you can never have, too many. Options work in video-games or Anime styled Apps where kids can go crazy and customize every single aspect of something they basically, have time for. Everyone else is either (A) Set to a schedule or (B) Set in their ways. We’ve worked really hard to try and make everything simple and right in your face through the website redesign. Many people want to argue small points like, “You should have Social Log-in available.” “Should you have Social Log-in available?” Who !@#$%^& cares? The fact of the matter is, we need to distribute fast and unhindered when we can and the rest needs to be easily findable by YOU (the person we’ve created for). I get tired of diatribes over Freenomics vs. Freemium and all this jargon; anyone who has sense knows that the relics of the Industrial Revolution that were attached to the e-commerce part of web-design are dead so really, why are people talking !@#$?

Maybe you know why?

Go ahead, speak your mind.

Website Revamp Nearly Complete…

This post currently has: no responses...

Redesign sucks, but it is essential to growth and sustainability. Thanks for sticking it through with us, we’re confident that you’ll love everything we’re going to be doing in the next few months. The end of the year will be a proving ground, all at once. There are many who question validity from all the paradigms past and current, and all we know is that a lot is now officially, “Dead in the water.” But don’t just take our words for it, really think about things that have been occurring regarding commerce, e-commerce, business, marketing, the way you use the internet, and the devices that empower your virtually limitless connectivity. Not a single one of those items was ever truly important except for maybe what, distinguishing yourself during the Industrial Revolution? And even then, there were no real measurements; we didn’t have all this trendy “real-time” analytical jargon, so now that we do, all the relics of the post Industrial Revolution internet are on their way out (seriously). This is liberating, this is the largest development since public-internet. What will you do?

Will you adapt?

We are adapting some of these new technologies

GumRoad.com: “Very close to what we need…” (Kuneo Koei)

This post currently has: no responses...

There is something we’ve been wanting to do for a VERY LONG TIME (and GumRoad has come so friggin’ close, it isn’t fair) — We hope they will integrate a few items in the coming months; primarily: the ability to have the variable pricing option call up a particular .zip file depending on which choice is selected and as well, the ability to have multiple items held in a keep-shopping mode. Don’t kid yourself, for our industries (if you want to call them that), this IS the future. It has implications for a complete paradigm shift regarding one-click processes for Licensing, Buying (digital-distribution/sales), and drip-feed style selling that can be integrated in/as a site-wide experience for whomever is following your developments as a creator. We’re experimenting with their new toy, give us a few weeks to get a handle on things and we’ll show you a TRUE NEW WAY to break away from the place where a lot of lip-jockeys (i.e. lip-service pundits) are still breaking points down by monikers/labels that have no place in the Tech-Age we exist in.

That is all.

Busy Body By Miles (Sekrett Scilensce Update)

Tons of things going on but all of them are fantastic. There is a collaboration on the table that I’m hoping will maintain continuous but as always, only time will tell. The jawsumness of the first completed track is an indicator of something evolved, certainly. CLICK-HERE to hear a sample. I’m still breaking away from tons of old ideas (duh, those that know me would say) but simultaneously, I am refining my position in outlook while engaging refreshed perspectives to execute the essence of evolution that I feel is needed. Per usual, I don’t like to say very much right off the bat however, I shall give places to go and a few goodies to flow with until the full view of what it is that germinates in my blood is realized (not that I’m trying to force change, but it is coming in waves of understanding and revised intention). This Kat has his style and method solid so in turn, let’s have a dabble and you’ll begin to see where things intersect:
